Since 2007
HCE – Hazard Control Engineering (HCE) offers consulting activities and provides customer specified hardware for the analysis of chemical warfare agents (CWAs) and chemical warfare materials (CWMs).
Starting with the delivery of chemical detectors for the chemical weapons destruction site in Kanda, Japan, HCE now offers a wide range of services. Consulting is one of HCEs main working fields. Furthermore, HCE distributes custom-built products for the handling of chemical warfare materials and supports the on-site installation and maintenance of analytical intruments.
A private Schedule 1 Facility of 53.000m² for the training and testing of CWA-related activities, operated as HiddingenTestCenter, is also available. HiddingenTestCenter is the residence for HCE as well as for HCG – Hazard Control GmbH, a company for CWA analyses, and the German National Information Center for Chemical Warfare Agents (NICK e.V.).
